What is the EU doing to protect soil? How did we vote on this in the European Parliament? Is this enough to have healthy soils in the EU by 2050?
I discussed these and many other issues relating to soil health, EU agricultural policy and nature conservation at the panel discussion "Rooting for healthy Soils in Europe" together with other speakers, organized by PAN Europe and the European Environmental Bureau (EEB).
In an opening statement, I also shed light on the long road to the EU land law, starting with the European Parliament's resolution in 2021, for which I was also my group's shadow rapporteur.
