Toys must not contain any hazardous substances! They must be safe for our children!

Nevertheless, every third toy today does not comply with the regulations. This is especially true of toys sold online.

These are millions of toys and they must be taken off the market immediately.

The European Commission has now finally presented a legislative proposal on children's toys, according to which toys must not only contain no carcinogenic substances (CMR) but also no hazardous chemicals, such as endocrine disruptors, toxic and respiratory sensitizing substances.

It is good that the Commission is finally presenting this, but we should have had it much earlier. Dangerous chemicals have no place in our children's toys!

There must be no exceptions to this, as provided for in the law. Because a carcinogenic substance is always dangerous and therefore cannot be classified as "safe".
