The fact that we urgently need an agricultural turnaround has long been beyond doubt and can no longer be denied or talked down. Politically, however, not nearly enough is being done to stop the ongoing ecological collapse. There is a lot of talk, marginal steps are promised and the population is being hoodwinked by concealing and minimizing the extent of the problems. Ultimately, the way our ecosystem is being treated by the politicians in charge is reminiscent of the famous three monkeys.

Regional and national politicians, together with farmers and independent agronomists from universities (i.e. knowledge-based and not obedient to the big industrial lobby and profit) and the population - the consumer - must finally initiate and consistently drive forward a change for the better.

The leaflet "Agrarwende jetzt!" can now be ordered free of charge. It contains many interesting texts on the problems of industrial agriculture and in particular the production of cheap meat. One major problem, for example, is the increase in multi-resistant germs due to the mass, preventative administration of antibiotics in animal fattening.
