🚨 EU sends a clear signal against Apple & Meta

For the first time, the EU Commission is cracking down with the Digital Markets Act (DMA):

- Apple: 500 million euro fine for restrictions in alternative app stores

- Meta: 200 million euros fine for the "pay or applaud" model on Facebook & Instagram

Both infringements restrict competition and the freedom of users - key points that the DMA protects.

The message: even big tech is not above the law. The digital single market needs clear rules - and consistent law enforcement.
