No abolition of the time change?

Update!

We had reported that the EU Commission had withdrawn the proposal to abolish the time change in the draft 2025 work program - but there was a last-minute change in the final version of the work program. The proposal to abolish the time changeover has not been withdrawn, but is still up for debate.

However, it is not clear whether the law will be discussed further in the Council - if not, and it looks like it will be at the moment, as the Member States cannot agree - it could be deleted for good in the future.

🔎 What else is in the 2025 work program?

✅ Positive: Focus on industry and decarbonization
❌ Negative: Democracy protection and marine protection & resilient water supply were only presented as initiatives

That could be improved!
