Detergents and cleaning agents are part of our everyday lives. We use them every day! That’s why we need to ensure that they are safer for our health and better for our environment!

As rapporteur and therefore as the European Parliament’s main representative for the revision of the Detergents Regulation
environmental protection, health and consumer protection are at the centre of my efforts!

We need sustainable and environmentally friendly washing and cleaning products. Consumers must be better informed about how to use them correctly. It must also be ensured that products are free from hazardous chemicals.
