The following event will take place tomorrow in the European Parliament in English:
“Wild Animals Not Pets: The Case for an EU Positive List”.

We discuss the trade in wild animals for pets – and the risks to animal welfare, public health and biodiversity.

A key concern: the introduction of an EU-wide positive list to finally create clear rules on which animals are suitable as pets.
