A historic day: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a moving speech in the plenary chamber of the European Parliament in Brussels this morning. It is the first time since the outbreak of Russian aggression that he has come to the EU in person. Seeing him in the EU Parliament was therefore a special and symbolic moment and a truly impressive experience for me. Ukraine wants peace - we all want peace and therefore we stand firmly by its side.
