After the Strasbourg week, I also had appointments in Saarbrücken.
Many thanks to Prof. Dr. Santen from Saarland University, with whom I was able to talk about the university's situation, European funding projects and the current situation of Saarbrücken's urban forest.

I was also able to talk to Jens Schmitt - Managing Director of the Saarland Chamber of Crafts - see photo and Dr. Frank Thomé, Managing Director of the Saarland Chamber of Industry and Commerce, about topics such as cross-border cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises in the Greater Region and the problem of the shortage of skilled workers.
