Plenary week in Strasbourg!

A full plenary week in Strasbourg is coming up and I will keep you up to date on important votes.

Here are some topics that deserve special attention:

1st Detergents Regulation: My report on the reform of detergents and cleaning products will be voted on tomorrow. As chief negotiator in the EU Parliament, I am campaigning for better biodegradability of ingredients, lower total phosphorus levels, more consumer protection and a ban on animal testing. Our goal is environmentally friendly detergents!

2 Nature Restoration Law: The protection of nature in Europe is paramount. The Nature Restoration Law is crucial for the preservation of our livelihoods. Unfortunately, the vote will be very close - we expect a nail-biter!

3. trade relations between the EU and Chile: The modernization of the Association Agreement with Chile is in full swing. We demand that the rights of indigenous peoples be respected and that an enforceable sustainability chapter be integrated.

4. EU-wide driving license rules: an important cornerstone for making the roads safer. My Greens/EFA group is campaigning for regular health checks every 15 years, regardless of age.

You will find more on some of these topics here on my website in the next few days!
