Artificial intelligence - responsible and for the common good!

Artificial intelligence (AI) is on an unstoppable global advance and is on everyone's lips. We are experiencing great progress, but this raises questions that affect us all. 📱💻

At the AI Action Summit in Paris, huge investments worth billions were announced to strengthen Europe's competitiveness in the field of AI. Tech giants such as Google and Salesforce are driving the digital transformation, but control of these technologies is in the hands of a few. This is where the danger lies: a concentration of AI power could jeopardize democracy and the diversity of opinions.

I am therefore delighted that a public-private partnership has committed in Paris to focus on projects that serve the common good and ensure that AI does not have the same negative impact as social media. We need more of that!

Because our digital future should be built on values such as freedom, privacy and diversity. It is time to develop technologies that serve all people, not just a few corporations. We need to chart our own course and learn from the mistakes of the past.
