30 May University cooperation with third countries: Opportunities and responsibilities

🇪🇺📚 Last week, I spoke at the event "EU-Kazakhstan: Education and culture - sustainable bridges of cooperation" in the European Parliament.

Anyone talking about international educational cooperation must not conceal one thing: Education is also a powerful instrument for conveying values.
It must be clear, especially in third countries such as Kazakhstan: Cooperation in higher education also means strengthening European principles such as academic freedom, equality and democracy.

Kazakhstan is already active in the Erasmus+ program, which is positive. Such cooperation strengthens international exchange as well as resilience, peace and shared perspectives.
