GMO-free harvest

On the occasion of the nationwide days of action for GMO-free food, I would like to draw attention to the EU Commission's plans to approve genetically modified plants without safety tests, labeling and liability regulations. For me, this is a clear interference in the freedom of choice of consumers and farmers who want to opt for GMO-free food or GMO-free cultivation. Over 90 percent of Germans still want labeling and safety tests for new genetically modified plants. That is why I will continue to campaign in the European Parliament against a relaxation of genetic engineering regulations to protect our citizens, biodiversity and farmers! Use my role in these delegations to advance these issues!
