I was delighted to attend the launch of Philip Lymbery's book "Sixty Harvests Left". Lymbery is a passionate animal rights activist and environmentalist, President of Eurogroup for Animals and a founding member of the World Federation for Animals. His book is very topical and takes a critical look at environmentally harmful factory farming. It shows that there are clearly sustainable alternatives. Absolutely worth reading!

Lymbery's comments really confirm all the reasons why I have been tirelessly campaigning against industrial agriculture and factory farming for a long time. The EU urgently needs a comprehensive reform of its agricultural system and more soil protection!
