14 May Exchange with teachers on high-quality education and teaching media skills
👩🏫 In the European Parliament today, I took part in an exciting exchange with committed teachers on high-quality education and the teaching of media skills - together with my colleagues from the Committee on Culture, Helder Sousa Silva and Eleonora Meleti.

Another important aspect is that parents need to be more involved when it comes to their children's use of social media. This also requires targeted events for them. Some schools already offer this
💬 Media skills, digital literacy, self-determination, analog skills and more offline activities - these are key building blocks for an education that empowers young people, promotes critical questioning and thus also makes our democracy fit for the future.
