💧Today we voted on the European Strategy for a Resilient Water Supply - high time, because we urgently need to protect our water resources and take action against water scarcity.

Clean water cannot be taken for granted. This makes it all the more important to consistently reduce environmental toxins such as PFAS. I have clearly campaigned against PFAS - these highly toxic "eternal chemicals" must no longer be allowed to enter our environment and certainly not our water.

PFAS must be abolished as quickly as possible.
And where they cannot yet be replaced, it must be ensured:
✔️ a closed cycle so that humans and the environment do not come into contact
✔️ safe, complete disposal by destroying the PFAS
✔️ no release into the environment or groundwater
